Recensione : Le Dimensioni Del Mio Caos (Audio CD) Il "concept album" del nuovo "Salvemini" pugliese. Caparezza, con questo nuovo lavoro, raggiunge un livello di sarcasmo invidiabile. Partendo da un concerto dove spacca la chitarra, creando un "varco spazio temporale", trasporta Ilaria, giovane sessantottina, nei deliranti giorni moderni. Si critica la voglia di revisionismo storico (Pimpami la Storia), il proliferare dei "social forum" (Ilaria condizionata), la demagogia del cemento armato (La grande opera), le morti sul lavoro (Vieni a ballare in Puglia), come smaltire i rifiuti (Cacca nello spazio), il lavoro precario (Eroe, la vera storia di Luigi delle Bicocche), e tanto altro. L'album si chiude con il manovale Luigi che, diventato musicista, spacca la chitarra creando un nuovo "varco spazio temporale". Eccelso, si ride a denti strettissimi, ci si commuove (sono pugliese), e si riflette molto. Compratelo.

Recensione : The Low End Theory [Edizione: Francia] (Audio CD) Che dire? Il secondo album della trilogia di capolavori dei Tribe. Il più bello. "We've got the jazz". Se lo dicono da soli e hanno ragione. Hanno pure scomodato Ron Carter a suonare il contrabbasso. Cosa vuoi di più... Mingus? Non c'è un pezzo di troppo ed è pure bello lungo come album. Zero riempitivi. Basi jazz come sempre ma molto più raffinate dell'album di debutto. Disco davvero compatto. Lo ascolto da quasi 20 anni senza stancarmi (naturalmente alternandolo ad altri 1600 circa, mica solo questo 24/7.). Oddio mi sento vecchio. Dammi la mano...
